Stroll through lively streets lined with local shops, cafés, and markets, where you can observe daily Mongolian life, browse for souvenirs, and capture memorable photographs. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After a hearty breakfast, depart for Terelj National Park. En route, visit the Tsonjin Boldog Complex, home to the world’s largest equestrian statue of Chinggis Khan. Explore the monument and enjoy panoramic views from the observation platform. Continue to Terelj National Park, where you will visit the famous Turtle Rock and enjoy a 30-minute horseback ride to the Ariyabal Meditation Temple, offering beautiful views over the surrounding valleys. Later, check in to a tourist camp located within the park. Dinner and overnight surrounded by pristine nature.

After an early breakfast, begin your journey toward the Gobi Desert and the spectacular White Stupa (Tsagaan Suvarga). This dramatic limestone escarpment rises nearly 30 meters and stretches for hundreds of meters, shaped by wind and water erosion over millions of years. The colorful layers of white, pink, and orange resemble the ruins of an ancient city. The area was once covered by a prehistoric sea, and marine fossils can still be found scattered across the surrounding plains. Enjoy a guided walk along the cliffs and panoramic photo stops. In the late afternoon, arrive at a nearby tourist camp, check in, and enjoy dinner under the vast Mongolian sky.

After breakfast, continue deeper into the Gobi region toward Yol Valley. En route, stop in Dalanzadgad City to visit the Gobi Nature and History Museum, where you will learn about dinosaur discoveries, native wildlife, and the unique desert ecosystem of southern Mongolia. Proceed into Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park, known for its dramatic mountain ranges and deep canyons. Explore Yol Valley, also called the “Valley of the Vultures,” famous for its towering rock walls and permanent ice fields that often remain even during the summer months. Enjoy a scenic horseback ride along narrow canyon trails and keep an eye out for ibex, wild sheep, and soaring lammergeier vultures overhead. In the evening, arrive at your tourist camp for dinner and an overnight stay in the peaceful desert surroundings.

After breakfast, travel to the legendary Khongor Sand Dunes, the largest and most impressive dunes in Mongolia. Known as the “Singing Dunes,” these golden sands stretch over 180 kilometers and rise more than 300 meters high. When the wind blows, the sand creates a deep humming sound that echoes across the desert. Visit a local nomadic camel-herding family and enjoy a traditional welcome. Experience a Bactrian camel ride, explore nearby green oases, and climb to the top of the dunes for breathtaking panoramic views of the Gobi Desert. Return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, travel to Bayan Zag, also known as the Flaming Cliffs, where the first dinosaur eggs were discovered in the 1920s by explorer Roy Chapman Andrews. Walk among the red sandstone formations that glow brilliantly at sunset and learn about Mongolia’s paleontological history. In the afternoon, continue to the historic Ongi Monastery, once one of Mongolia’s largest and most important Buddhist centers. Explore the restored temples and ruins along the scenic Ongi River, gaining insight into Mongolia’s spiritual heritage and revival of Buddhism. Dinner and overnight near the monastery.

After an early breakfast, travel to Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire and a key hub of the historic Silk Road. Visit Erdene Zuu Monastery, Mongolia’s oldest Buddhist monastery, surrounded by 108 white stupas. Explore its temples and museum while learning about the country’s imperial and religious history. Dinner and overnight in the area.

After breakfast, travel through the scenic landscapes of the Orkhon Valley toward the magnificent Orkhon Waterfall, also known as Ulaan Tsutgalan. This impressive natural landmark was formed by ancient volcanic activity and cascades dramatically into a deep basalt canyon, creating one of Mongolia’s most beautiful and photogenic sights. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the river and canyon rim, take panoramic photos, and experience the peaceful atmosphere of this UNESCO World Heritage-listed region. Later, transfer to Jaran Tsagaan Hot Springs Resort. Relax and soak in the mineral-rich natural hot springs, believed to help relieve fatigue, improve circulation, and soothe muscles and joints after days of travel. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

After breakfast, continue your journey through the heart of Arkhangai Province. Stop in Tsetserleg City for lunch and travel along the scenic Chuluut River Valley, famous for its deep basalt canyon formed by ancient volcanic activity. Arrive at Khorgo-Terkhi National Park. Explore the extinct Khorgo Volcano, walking along the crater rim and through lava formations and caves. Later, visit Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake (Great White Lake), a tranquil freshwater lake surrounded by steppe and mountain scenery. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the lakeshore. Dinner and overnight near the park.

After breakfast, begin your journey toward northern Mongolia. As the distance to Khuvsgul Lake is long, the route is divided into two days to allow for comfortable travel and scenic stops. Arrive in Jargalant Village in the afternoon, settle into your accommodation, and enjoy a relaxing evening.

After breakfast, continue your journey north. Stop for lunch in Murun City. In the early afternoon, arrive at Khuvsgul Lake, often called the “Blue Pearl of Mongolia.” Check in to your tourist camp and enjoy a peaceful evening by the lakeshore.

After breakfast, begin your full-day city tour with a visit to Sukhbaatar Square, the central square of Mongolia and a symbol of national independence. Continue to the Chinggis Khan Museum, which houses thousands of artifacts showcasing the history of the Mongol Empire and Mongolia’s cultural heritage. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to the Bogd Khan Palace Museum, the former winter residence of Mongolia’s last king, featuring traditional architecture, royal collections, and religious artifacts. Later, visit the State Department Store for shopping, where you can purchase high-quality Mongolian cashmere, souvenirs, and traditional crafts. In the evening, attend a traditional Mongolian folk concert featuring throat singing, horsehead fiddle music, and traditional dance. Conclude the day with a farewell dinner together with your guide and driver.
