The Silk Road Spirit: 7-Day Journey into An Immersive Camel Herder Family Experience
Day 1: The Gateway to the Gobi – Drive from UB to Baga Gazriin Chuluu (Granite rock formations).
Day 2: The White Stupa – Explore Tsagaan Suvarga, an ancient seafloor with colorful limestone cliffs.
Day 3: The Valley of Eagles – Hike through Yolyn Am, a deep ice-filled gorge in the desert mountains.
Day 4-6: The Heart of Camel Culture (Khongoryn Els) –
Arrive at a Camel Herding Family near the “Singing Sands.”
Spend 3 full days living with the family. Learn to milk a camel (making “Khoormog” – camel yogurt), help with watering the herd at desert wells, and master the art of camel trekking.
Day 7: The Flaming Cliffs – Travel to Bayanzag, where the world’s first dinosaur eggs were found.
Day 8: Ongi Monastery Ruins – A spiritual stop at the ruins of a massive 17th-century monastery on the riverbanks.
Day 9: Return to Ulaanbaatar – Final transit back to the capital for a farewell dinner.
